Bostik 2638 is a single component, Polyurethane based sealing compound which cures by reaction with atmospheric moisture. The cured sealant is rubbery and highly elastic and, in general, can be overpainted. 2638 is available in a colour range of white, black and grey and is supplied in ready to use cartridges suitable for hand gun application. FEATURES ● Single component ● Excellent unprimed adhesion to many substrates ● High elongation ● Low modulus ● Non staining ● Good UV and sunlight resistance USES Suitable for sealing both internal and external joints in a wide variety of materials including concrete, stone, asbestos/cement, wood, metals, ceramic tiles, enameled substrates, GRP and plastics in general. Typical applications are joint sealing in building construction and maintenance and the sealing of vehicle body joints. Note : On certain surfaces the use of a primer may be necessary.
